Supplier Information: Our Chamomile Roman Essential Oil supplier is known for producing high-quality Chamomile Roman. The supplier is a well-established, family-run farm that has been cultivating and processing Chamomile since the 1960s. The farm is currently managed by the second generation, with the transition to the third generation already underway.
This farm processes approximately 400 tonnes of plants annually, turning them into dried herbs, fresh plants, or essential oils. It spans around 300 hectares in Anjou, with 70 hectares directly cultivated by family, and remaining land managed through plantation contracts with other local farmers, ensuring consistent and sustainable production.
In addition to cultivating plants, the farm also provides wild-harvested plants through a network of professional foragers. However, for larger demands, they prioritise cultivation to protect natural resources and ensure sustainability.
The farm cultivates a diverse range of about 100 different plant species each year, harvesting various parts including roots, aerial parts, leaves, and flowers to produce high-quality essential oils.
