Description: This stem cell extract tackles the problem of congested, oily and dull skin by harnessing the detoxing power of Eucalyptus. This ingredient is targeted to rehabilitate and purify the skin by assisting in the elimination of toxins and cellular wastes, decreasing oxidised oils on the skins surface and reducing the creation of free radicals which can be caused by environmental aggressors.
Studies show that at just 0.5%, this ingredient effectively:
- Increases release of cellular waste CO2 by 29% and 38% in asphyxiated cells (common in urban/polluted environments) indicating a re-oxygenating effect.
- Stimulates cell regeneration by 12%
- Degrades 70% of excess fatty acids into glycerol indicating degradation of lipids which can help to support the NMF in the skins extracellular matrix and prevent excess oiliness throughout the day
- Decreases oxidation of skin lipids induced by pollution residue by 19%
Recommended for any skin type, including sensitive. This ingredient can be used for every-day skincare, night time skin care, purifying masks and other products designed to restore skin clarity and function. This is also a popular stem-cell extract used in detoxifying spa treatments.
Usage Levels: 0.5% - 3%
pH stability: 4 – 8
Formulation Guidelines: Dispersible in water. Add this ingredient to a finished emulsion (less than 40°C). This product is made of cells that can be dispersed throughout a finished formula. Please note that this ingredient does not contain a suspending agent, so stem cells may accumulate at the bottom of the packaging. When using this product in a formula, agitation of this ingredient may be required prior to use to re-suspend the cellular matter.
