Ingredients: Cucumis Sativus Seed Oil (Cucumber Oil)
Cucumber is a member of the gourd family and one that produces a beautiful aromatic oil from its seeds. This lightly aromatic oil is used in cosmetics as both an emollient and a nautral fragrance component.
Extraction method: Cold pressed
Common uses: Used in various cosmetic applications for its cooling, nutritive, and soothing properties, and plays a function in skin care, hair care and nail creams. Cucumber oil is known for its cooling and refreshing effects. It contains a high mineral content, and is a valuable source of potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulphur, sillicon, chlorine, and florine.
Consistency: Typical and characteristic of carrier oils
Absorption: Absorbs into skin at average speed, slight oil feeling left on skin.
Usage Level: Can be used in any proportion but typically used at up to 10%
Heat Stability: To preserve the oils aroma this oil is best stored and formulated at room temperature or lower.
