Product Description
Ingredients: Vanilla Planifolia Bean Extract, Glycerin, Alcohol
Botanical name: Vanilla planifolia
Common name: Vanilla 20-fold Oleoresin
Fold is the term used to describe the strength of the vanilla scent/smell.
The higher the fold the stronger the strength is of the aroma and the thicker the viscosity of the oil.
Plant part: Fruit
Extraction method: Food grade solvent (Ethanol and Glycerin)
Residual Solvent: Ethanol 3%, Glycerin 30%
Aromatic scent: Rich, sweet vanilla aroma. Vanilla 20- fold is full bodied and sweeter than 10-fold, with no solvent residue present in aroma.
Strength of aroma: Medium
Note: Middle
Application Note: This viscous resin may be difficult to incorporate into some formulations and may require mixing with Isopropyl Myristate, Ethanol, Propane Diol or Glycerine to make it easier to handle. The downside to this is that the aroma will be diluted also. If you want to retain the potency of the vanilla you may wish to blend it with essential oils that contain a high percentage of alcoholic aroma chemicals. Those containing linalool or terpenes may work well.
