Properties/Benefits: The main compounds found in Raspberry Seed Virgin Oil offer a multitude of benefits for the cosmetic industry. First and foremost, the oil is rich in essential fatty acids, including linoleic, linolenic, and oleic acids, providing excellent emollient properties that deeply nourish and hydrate the skin. Additionally, the oil is abundant in natural antioxidants such as tocopherols, effectively protecting the skin from environmental stressors and promoting anti-aging effects. Its high content of phytosterols contributes to skin regeneration, resulting in a smoother, more youthful complexion. The well-known presence of ellagic acid and gallic acid works synergistically to combat inflammation, soothe irritation, and enhance the oil's overall anti-aging properties.

Unlike other fruits, such as blackberries, the core of the raspberry is not attached to the individual drupelets (small fruits) that make up the berry. This means that when you pick a raspberry, the core stays on the plant. On average, raspberry seeds only contain around 2-3% oil by weight. This low oil content means that a considerable number of raspberry seeds are required to obtain a meaningful amount of oil.
