Product Description
Ingredients: Quaternium-80, Propylene Glycol
Quaternium 80 is used in conditioning shampoos and hair rinses as well as body washes and liquid soaps where a conditioned, soft finish is required. This product is substantive to keratin giving it long lasting conditioning power. It improves combability of wet and dry hair, electrostatic charge is reduced and the hair becomes silky, shiny and manageable. This high molecular weight conditioner is highly flexible in terms of formulating as it is compatible with anionic surfactants.
Use level: 0.2-2% in shampoos and skin conditioning
0.5-4% in hair conditioners.
Solubility: Water.
Add into the water phase of your formula during manufacturing or you can add the liquid at the end of the processing.
Origin: Synthetically derived polymer.
Conditioning level: Very high.
